I'm Kara, a writer and crossword constructor who loves exploring the playful side of language.

In my writing, I love exploring real characters, deeper topics, and thoughtful perspectives of the world around me. Whether I'm writing or puzzling, I'm always thinking about how words can delight and surprise us.

When I'm not creating puzzles, you can find me working to make government services more accessible for beneficiaries, baking bagels from scratch with my husband, or curled up with a good book between my Maine Coon and Golden Retriever.
